If the Red shield icon is missing, it might be disabled or hidden. To check if it’s hidden, follow these steps: 

For Chrome:

For Edge:

How to Uninstall the AdRemove Max Android App

1. Open Settings: Go to your device’s Settings menu.

2. Tap the “AA” icon in the URL bar (at the top-left corner) to open the page settings.
3. Choose “Website Settings” from the drop-down menu.
4. Toggle off “Request Desktop Website” if it's on; this ensures you’re using the mobile site.
5. Disable “Open in App” by finding the “Open Links in YouTube” option and toggling it off (if available).
6. Clear Safari’s history and website data if links still open in the app:

• Go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.
  

For Android (Chrome Browser):

1. Open the Chrome app on your Android device and go to YouTube.com.
2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, then select Settings.
3. Scroll to “Site Settings”, then choose “Pop-ups and redirects” and disable any redirects for YouTube, if set.
4. Check “Open by default” settings for the YouTube app:

• Go to Settings > Apps > YouTube on your device.
• Tap “Open by default” and select “Clear defaults” if YouTube is set to open by default. 

If Chrome still redirects to the YouTube app, try long-pressing on the YouTube link in Chrome, selecting “Open in incognito tab,” or copying and pasting the link to bypass app auto-open behavior.
